Hello! I'm Nicole!
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. My academic journey began at San Jose State University, where I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Child and Adolescent Development. I then pursued my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego.
During my graduate studies, I gained valuable hands-on experience through practicum at the UCSD Eating Disorder Clinic. Following this, I further honed my skills working in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs (PHP/IOP). In these roles, I led various therapeutic groups, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT), Adolescent Focused Therapy (AFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My therapeutic approach is deeply client-centered, combining compassion with practical, research-backed strategies to support your healing and growth. In addition to my private practice, I work as a full time Mental Health Clinician at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health.
During my free time I love to swim, hike, try new restaurants and spend time with family and friends!
